Photoshoot

Above is a small selection of the photo's from yesterdays shoot. These are not fully edited because I know I'm not going to use them as final pieces. I'll be putting the finals up on my deviantart within the next week or so, some still need a bit of tweaking.
I've been wanting to do a shoot like this for years now, I got the idea after an episode of America's Next Top Model. The final photographs aren't what I had in mind when planning the shoot but sometimes that's a good thing! I can still do my original idea one day and in the mean time I have a whole new set of photographs that I didn't expect to get, happy days :)

When things go wrong...

Film photography is an expensive hobby when things go wrong! Learnt that the hard way yesterday.
Jacobs rang me to tell me my Diana+ photographs were ready for collection, yay I said! I'd been meaning to take this film in for several months to get developed but always forgot (memory like a sieve) The film is from a holiday I took with my family in May/June, so naturally I'd forgotten what photographs I'd taken. And unfortunately I'll never know! Only 4 photographs survived from the film. I made the biggest schoolboy error and exposed the film to light after taking it out of my camera. I could kick myself I'm so annoyed! However I have learnt my lesson and will never make that mistake again that's for sure. Just had to learn the hard (expensive) way!

On a lighter note I've just done a photoshoot which I'm very excited about! I'll give you a preview tomorrow and tell you more about it!

Trying things out

I recently stumbled across an amazing photographer on deviantart - here who has really interesting and unique ideas, I read one of her tutorials about how to take underwater bubble photographs here is the tutorial - here
I'd recommend trying it, it's very fun, although quite frustrating as well. The photographs above are my first try, once I figure out the proper process I'll start using fruit and better objects!
