1... 2... 3... Action!
Flowers and trees! Two of my favourite things :) Just got these developed today, some of the photos on the film were from 10 months ago so (like always) I'd forgotten what was on the film. I'm very happy with them. I know most people use their actionsampler to photograph movement but I prefer the simpler photos. If I like something enough to photograph it then once then I'm sure gonna like 4 of the same image! There's a lot of photos I wanna show you from this film but I don't want to overload you in one blog. I'll put more up next week :)

Please excuse...
...the bad photography here! I got my new lens in the post today :) A 58mm wide angle lens, it attaches to all canon lenses to give wider angles. It was only a cheap plaything from amazon but that's all I need! I'm having a photography weekend this Saturday/Sunday so I'll be sure to post more (exciting/better) photographs!

GIMP
I've heard of GIMP before from someone I'm following on DeviantArt but never known what it was... until now! I recently saw an article on lightstalking about free GIMP plugins for photographers so decided to check it out. It's basically an editing software just like PhotoShop but with one big difference, it's free! It's easy to use and while I think I'll continue using PhotoShop for my photography it's good to have and know another software. The above photographs are just some quick before and afters using different tools on GIMP.
The article if anybody fancies a read here

Flower Power
These are quite old photos now but I still like them and want to share them! I love flowers, they're possibly my favourite thing to photograph. I have a few ideas in mind for upcoming shoots involving flowers so keep an eye out for them. Now I just need someone to buy me a lovely bouquet so I can photograph it. Hint hint George! ;)

The Humber Bridge
A few photos from my recent trip to the Humber Bridge. The sun was just setting (I actually watched it set, it was pretty cool) and there were lots of people walking enjoying the sunset. It was a lovely evening :)
