365

This year I decided to do a 365 project. Every day for a year I take at least one photo, pretty simple! Here is a small collection of my 365 so far;

Day 4 - 4th Jan

Day 5 - 5th Jan

Day 9 - 9th Jan

Day 12 - 12th Jan

Day 16 - 16th Jan

Day 23 - 23rd Jan

Day 28 - 28th Jan

Day 42 - 11th Feb

Day 47 - 16th Feb

The main idea of this project is to be thinking of new ideas everyday for a photo. It doesn't have to be your best ever photo every day it's about trying new things and making yourself see a photo in every day situations.

Time Lapse II

Here is the time lapse from yesterdays ink shoot. It shows you how I made it and it looks cool! I always find it interesting to see how photographers got to the final photos they choose to show. I don't think the video and the photos I put on here yesterday look like they're from the same shoot! I like that though. It was fun finding the unusual shapes and clouds the ink made. I used my 50mm to shoot this time lapse and my macro extension to photograph the individuals.

Aww, you guys made me ink!

I've been wanting to do this for so long now, bought everything I needed a while back but just haven't found the time to do it! I did manage to attempt it a few months ago and it turned out... well you can see for yourself! But I'm very glad I did try it again because it goes to show practise makes perfect, or in this case, practise makes a much better photo 2nd time around!

The first set below is my first attempt, it was very make shift as I used a glass and some Vimto. I wasn't expecting amazing results and I'm only putting them on here to show how you can improve if you keep trying!

As you can see, not the best first attempt! But that just made me want to do it more, so below is from todays go.

I'm so happy with the way it turned out and I've got my next idea in mind already! I also did a time lapse of the ink so I'll put that up this week :)

My absence

I've been a bit absent the past few weeks and I apologise for that. I've had some exciting news which I can't say yet but hopefully will be announcing this week :) I've also got a mini project I'm gonna try get done tomorrow. It's something I've tried to do before (and failed) so I want another bash at it!
